Have I totally lost it?

Hey hey you guys!
Welcome to my blog. This being my first blog, I wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know that yes, I in fact have lost it!
To anyone that currently knows me personally, understands why, and by the end of this read I'm sure you will too!

My name is Jessica. I am a nursing student in Michigan. I work full time over night in a hospital near me as a patient care technician (basically CNA) and have been doing so for over two years. Despite the long hours, long nights, and sometimes awful patients, it is where my heart lies and I know matter of factly its what I was called to do! I plan on going to grad school immediately after I graduate to pursue my DNP-FNP. On top of working full time and going to school, I am getting married to my high school sweetheart! I know, I know...you don't hear that often. It hasn't been the wonderful fairytale most people think of when you tell them that. It has been really hard, trying, frustrating..but also amazing, adventurous, and full of love. He is without a doubt my soulmate and every difficult moment has been outshined by a wonderful one. We are getting married in Cabo, Mexico in just 23 days! Yep...you read that right, we are so close! So, do you think I've lost it yet? Starting a blog with a schedule like mine may seem crazy, but writing has always been a good outlet for me, and quite frankly I'm tired of my mom begging me to do it. She has always told me I should be a writer but, for me nursing is in my blood and I couldn't imagine a job any different. Well, now I can do both! (This one is for you mom). My goal here is to share my life and the adventures it takes me on with each of you in hopes it inspires you to do something out of the box, or maybe you're going through a similar situation and just need to know you're not alone. We can figure out how to be wonder women (and men) together.Whatever it may be, I hope you enjoy!

xoxo,
Jess
